  2. Go outside in daylight — shade or overcast is best
  3. Hold the sheet at arm's length facing the car panel
  4. Look at the REFLECTION of the stripes in the panel
  5. Any wobble, kink or bend in the lines = a DENT

STEP 2
Go outside with the stripe sheet.
STEP 3
Hold the sheet facing the panel and look at the reflection of the stripes.
STEP 4
Straight lines = no dent  ·  Wiggly lines = DENT found!
STEP 5
Tell your parents! Small dents are cheap to fix early — most are smaller than a credit card.

What you're looking for:

✓ No dent — lines straight
✗ Dent — lines distort
